It's been a while since I had the time and the conditions were right to do some landscape photography. This day the weather wasn't perfect either, but it was OK. Because I didn't have to go to work today, and I haven't made real photographs (except for family shots, PARTY shots hehehehe, and shots of plays) in weeks, I decided to go on my bike and find a nice location. Location This location is between Zoutelande and Westkapelle. I had to cycle 75 mins to get there, and it wasn't really worth it. The location wasn't as great as it was in my memories. I haven't been there for two years I guess. So I can't tell you any juicy facts about the location except that when I went a few meters to the left I got a text-message: "Welcome in Belgium - T-mobile". It could be that I got this message because this is the most western part of the Netherlands. Not that that is so exciting, except if you are keen on receiving text messages. Photo The light wasn't that wonderful, for the whole day, but just before 18.00 the light started to get nice. The tide was low, so the beach was rather empty and it was hard to find some good foreground. This little reservoir of water got my eye, and I really like the sand lines. I also have shot with more attention to the sand lines but the impact of the light is less because the reflective water is further ahead in the frame. My polarizer was a very welcome tool this day. Without my pola the shot wouldn't be this warm, this gold. Metadata Nikon D60 Sigma 10-20mm @10mm 1/8 sec f22 ISO 100 Circular Polarizer Velbon Sherpa 600R |

It's Gods creativity and my camera

Actually, when I saw this photo on the LCD of my camera I had to think of your photograph 'under the red'. Though it are two totally different photographs the subject is a sort of the same: Both include a small body of water as the subject in stead of the sea.
And thanks a lot for the
